Review:

The debut CD Code Name: Jumper of David Munyon is full of beautiful songs. All tracks are written by David Munyon and S.P. Standley. Absolute fantastic are the songs “Maybe over the border”, “On the other side of Harlem”, “Earl`s song”, “East of Paris”, “Beijing Dreams” and “Hey Benny”. The last song, Hey Benny, is even touching and realistic; David is looking fore a friend he once knew. The title “Earl's song” is no more than a statement to realize that it is great to have friends and family around. His debut was recorded with an impressive lineup: Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers, Govīt Mule), Matt Rollings (Lyle Lovett), Leland Sklar (Jackson Browne, CSNY), Sneaky Pete (Flying Burrito Brothers), Al Perkins (Mannassass) and Anthony Crawford (Neil Young). Codename: Jumper has become one of the most wanted David Munyon albums. It is a well-rounded work of art, from the hands of an authoritative singer-songwriter who believes in his message.
